My practice model is based on helping children,
adolescents and young adults make practical,
useful and adaptive gains in the context of their life
roles as family members, students, friends and workers.
Family involvement is encouraged and welcome
during the course of therapy. I work closely with
each patient and family on an ongoing basis to
prioritize the focus of intervention.
I received my bachelors degree in dance from UCLA
and my masters degree in occupational therapy from
the University of Southern California.
I have written and lectured extensively on
development, play, motor skills, socialization
and activity based occupational therapy.
Clinical experience includes working with
children and adolescents at Children's Hospital, Los Angeles
and at the Neuropsychiatric Institute at UCLA. I have been
in practice since 1988 and was in
private practice in Santa Monica
and West Los Angeles for 25 years.
Certified by the National Board for Certification for
Occupational Therapy and a member of the
American Occupational Therapy Association.
I am licensed to provide services in California.
